Sustainable Decks

Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026

On this page

Welcome to Sustainable Decks (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect through sustainabledeckco.com and our services, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

When you request an estimate or otherwise contact us, we collect what you give us directly: your name, phone number, address, the type of project you're asking about, and any details you include in a message. If you move forward with a project, we also collect what's necessary to invoice and take payment for that work.

Our site also collects some technical information automatically, like your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and how you got here. We use it to keep the site working, to understand how it's used, and to see which of our ads lead to a phone call or an estimate request.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to schedule site visits, put together estimates, keep you updated on a project, communicate by phone or text, handle invoicing and payment, respond to whatever you've asked us, and generally improve how we run the business based on feedback and how the site gets used.

3. Cookies and Tracking

We use two Google services that set cookies in your browser. Google Analytics shows us how people find the site and which pages they use. Google Ads conversion tracking tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to call us or request an estimate, so we know which ads are worth running. Google handles that data under its own policies, and it explains how it uses information from sites like ours at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We also use Vercel Analytics to measure traffic and page speed. It doesn't set cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Google also offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We share it only with the service providers we actually need to run the business, payment processors, communication tools, and similar, and only for the purpose of delivering the service you requested. We'll also disclose information where we're legally required to.

5. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as it's actually needed, either to provide the service you requested or to meet a legal or operational requirement, and no longer than that.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee perfect protection, but we treat this seriously.

7. Minors

Our services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we don't direct our services toward minors.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold on you at any time. The fastest way to do that is to call us directly at (617) 913-4042.

9. SMS and Phone Communications

If you opt in, we may reach out by text or phone with appointment reminders, project updates, or occasional promotional messages. Message frequency varies, and standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

You can stop text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message we send. Reply “HELP,” or call us directly, if you need assistance instead.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The current version, with its effective date, is always the one posted on this page.
